Hi I’m Brandi Rosgen
B.Ed, MACP, MPCC
I live in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada with my husband, kid, and dog.
My practice caters to the Airdrie, Calgary, Cochrane areas, and throughout Canada with an online therapy portal. I specialize in helping couples transform struggling relationships, and individuals eliminate anxiety and depression.
My Style of Therapy
I help people change their stories and the trajectories of their lives and relationships.
I’ve been told many times that I have an ability to get at the issues quickly, and that although I speak in kindness, I do not mix my words which helps to make therapy efficient and effective. My approach is direct, and solution focused where healing is centred around change and growth, so that new ways of being, and experiencing, are not only identified and established, but sustained and maintained. People often seek only relief, but relief doesn’t necessarily bring happiness and peace, it and rarely creates sustainable, maintainable change.
My Philosophy
Change requires change.
Most of the time people come to see me they want change, but what they really want is the outside world to be different. For each of these people I wish I could change the world, so life could be easier to travel, free of relationship struggle, anxiety and depression. But I can’t, so I help them identify how they have accidentally created what they do not want to experience, and how to create what they do.
My Background and Approach
No one can take or give happiness, and only you can use it; First you must know how.
My background is in traditional Clinical Psychology, Positive Psychology and Transpersonal Psychology. I am a trained Transcendental Meditator, and a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, and include these modalities in many treatment plans. Additionally, I rely on intuition, knowing and seeing to help guide me through the therapy process. Approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), from traditional Clinical Psychology, combine well with mindfulness, and a variety of meditative approaches from Transpersonal Psychology. Finally, rather than focusing solely on problems, concerns or issues I focus on, with the help of my Positive Psychology education, what is working, where the strengths are, and what should be built on.

Certificate in Positive Psychology, Wholebeing Institute, Harwick, Massachusetts (2016)
